What you get for the modest cover prices is so good, it really is profane. So in a way… BUSTED!
Comedy shenanigans… heart-racing thrills… mind-blowing mystery… eyebrow-curling horror… or tear-tugging nostalgia… Some titles go for mere pennies – as low as 99¢. Nothing’s over a deuce – $20. Unless, that is, you buy something from a third party charging more than the book’s original asking price. Yep, they’re out there… it’s a compliment in a way, but everything is still available at the affordable original price.
Where does the money go? After we cover production costs – printing, assembly, marketing, etc… The meager remainder provides a small royalty (about 30%) with which Foster can address his mounting medical costs. It sucks to be sick.
